Windows
in an Hour!
Windows 95 hit store shelves and computer hard drives in August
of 1995. Nearly 7 1/2 years later, we all continue to learn more about,
arguably, the biggest thing to hit computers since the floppy drive.
In today's sessions, we covered the Windows' task bar, system
tray and quick launch tool bar extensively. In fact, we didn't get much further
than discussing how to use the task bar and its features to its utmost
potential. You can read the tips about the taskbar and many other Windows tips
by visiting our Tip Archives.
Some other areas of Windows that we discussed included the
sometimes difficult to understand 'shortcut'. How to create them, delete them,
copy them, etc. We also discussed how to get rid of some those pesky icons next
to your system clock. (you can read tips and instructions about these topics
also in our Tip Archives).
