This month, we tried something entirely new. Using a camcorder and the LCD projector, I demonstrated all the uses of the Handspring Visor (a Palm enabled device). 

A Palm device is a type of a PDA (Personal Digital Assistant). In their most simplistic form, they are designed to replace a paper address book and date book. In practice, they do that and so much more.

I demonstrated how the PDA can be used for:

• Keeping track of appointments

• Organizing and maintaining your addresses and phone numbers

• Keep a To Do list

• Keep a list of important information

• Read Internet content

• Compose and read email

• Track your expenses

• and much more!!

I also discussed the differences between the Palm devices and the Pocket PC devices, where to buy the little gems, how much to pay, and how to customize them for yourself.
