Calendars and
Computers - Create them, print them, share them and plan with them!
We all use calendars every day. If not to plan meetings, events,
and our recreation, we at least use them to see what day it is. This month, we
talked about the various options available to us on our computers.
One handy and easy calendar that we can all access is via our
Windows clock. Read the complete tip by clicking
here.
I found www.timeanddate.com
a few years ago when I need to quickly generate a yearly calendar. This site is
awesome for generating basic yearly or monthly calendars. It also lets you
customize the calendar with moon phases, holidays and more. And the site
provides all this for NO CHARGE.
If you already own a publishing program like Print Master, Print
Shop or Microsoft Publishing, these programs all offer calendar creation. With
these programs, you can add pictures and customize these types of calendars to
your hearts content.
For individuals, and especially organizations, I really like Yahoo!
Calendar. Like all other Yahoo services, the calendar is free. We
demonstrated how the Yahoo! Calendar works in our session today.
For just a few dollars, you can search www.download.com
for 'calendar' and come up with many good shareware options for creating
calendars.
If you are looking for a full fledged calendar creation program,
then Calendar
Creator should be your first choice. Broderbund now owns Calendar Creator,
but it is still considered the best and most flexible calendar creation program.
