Castellini Empire
Adam and I work as much as we can to spread the word about our web site and call-in talk show, now on the web. In case you didn't listen to last week's podcast (shame on you if you didn't), we announced that the Castellini on Computers Program now has a MySpace presence.
Wow! Rick and Adam on MySpace. Yes, sad, but true. My thought process for starting a MySpace page was two fold:
- I read an article this week about a 17 year old girl who is making $70,000 per MONTH by advertising her wares on MySpace
- Since a bajillion MySpace users have slow computers and need help fixing their systems and/or their parent's system, it seemed a logical place to "advertise".
We shall see if the little venture works out or not, but it is yet another part of our marketing scheme to get people aware of and using HelpMeRick.com!
The "Castellini on Computers" online empire consists of the following sites so far:
- HelpMeRick.com - headquarters and site extraordinaire
- CastTV - YouTube channel containing all of our how-to videos (currently numbering almost 70 videos)
- Castellini Store - CafePress store where you can by all sorts of HelpMeRick.com logo wares
- Rick and Adam on MySpace - Advertising to the younger generation and hopefully their parents
- Castellini WordPress site - Just another avenue to get our name out
- Show Stickam site - A video social networking site we use to broadcast our show every Thursday night
