It is a scam over craigslist. Do not fall for this. They send you pics. The same three or four pics. You can tell it is them if you reply, they will write back. When they do write back, their spelling is very bad. So you know. PLEASE DON'T FALL FOR IT!!!!!!!

I too was looking for searching for a Yorkie and found them at $150. Such a deal so I sent a email to see if it was true. According to all of the emails I have been reading about being scamed it sounds similiar to this one only they are changing them. One thing to notice is the broken English or sentence they apparently cannot write or speak american English so that should be a clue to us, that and the price.

I really believed her, until my mother told me to watch out for scams. I was looking for a Shar Pei Dog. She said she was giving hers away for adoption. Free of no charge. She lived in Cameroon, and i didnt know where that was until i saw this site. Africia woah. Anwways she was being so generous and kind and caring. But she just said. ' When will you people have my money' It just sounded like some dude was like HEY , you , you in the blakc shirt listen here. Like it was soem man who just wanted my money. Anyways. I told my boyfriend and she agreed it sounded supicious. I google the place she worked at. New Lakes Christ Orphanage. Yeah, this site was the first to appear. I was furious and mad. But reading the email you sent her, just fooling around, made me wanna do that. But i am ready to write a complant letter with vicious words. Thanks so much for this site. I had been talking with someone about 2 English Bulldogs, when things seemed awfully strange. So I googled it, like everything else Im curious about and low and behold............
Thats enough to make you feel a bit stupid!!!!!

I live in the US & talked to a woman from Craigslist who had a baby boy "Jerry" for adoption. Elizabeth emailed me this sad sob story telling me all about her live in Cameroon & how she was from Ireland & when she became pregnant her family disowned her & this "Parish" had her son. I thought it was for real so I emailed her several times a day. I also spoke with the parish & even gave him my cell phone number. He called me every day telling me information about the baby & wanted me to wire him $3000 for the baby & another $1000 once Jerry arrived here in the US. I decided to email a lawyer in Cameroon to be sure this wasn't a scam & he emailed me a day or so later & said it was a scam. He said the address for the "Parish" wasn't a real address or street & the phone number for him wasn't a working number. It was for outgoing calls only. I emailed them both 2 weeks ago & they haven't emailed me back since. I decided this past week to begin my search on Craigs List. I searched all 50 states & each city for each state. I also searched all of Canada & 10 other countries. I found around 25 to 30 women on there stating they have a baby for adoption. I emailed each & every one of them & they all email you back with the same sob story about how they are now stranded in Cameroon & all of the babies daddy's have died in some way or another. One girl even emailed me pictures of a baby doll claiming it was her friends child that they wanted me to adopt but it had HIV AIDS. I have contacted the fraud department as well as craigslist. I can not get anyone from either to contact me back. I have also contacted the local police department here in the US where I live. I have filed out a police report. If I have to I will email each & every news channel in each state & country as well as 20/20 & Date Line. Something needs to be done about this. Some poor innocent person is going to end up sending them money for a child & never get a child. And trust me it will happen because I almost did. Thank goodness I emailed this lawyer instead. Here is the emails they sent me - notice how my emails are EXACTLY like previous ones listed above. These go in order for the last email received to the first one received:

I just wanted to thank you guys!I seen the adds for the bulldogs on BuySell.com and then it transfered me to denver.oodle.com so I sent them an email requesting more information. I got a call today from a 999 number, and when I tried to call it back it was disconnected and then when I read the email response they sent, and all the errors it contained, I was sure it was a scam. GAH, how frustrating! I just wish that who ever was doing it would stop, it's total bull! the phone number that was given was 237 999 06061 (too many numbers right?!) also the emails used (and there were two!): blydenclovis@yahoo.com and also mimikoroma@hotmail.com. another thanks for affirming that some things in life really are too good to be true.

Hello, This may seem long but it is VERY entertaning!!
I had made a post on Kijiji.com classifeds about a puppy I want. It even stated how I was a disabled 22 yr old female and seeking for a puppy for some added company.I will also let you enjoy these ridiculous emails I received from a "Kirsten Eriksen" in Cameroon who replied to my Want ad. I think they may have even gave me a name that is real and can be reported to authorities but I'm not sure where to go about this?? Does anyone know where to report fraud like this? It's so mean what they are doing and I feel even worse for the people who actually sent money to these scammers!!! I knew after the second email it was a total scam but I also lead them on to see how far they would go and see them get caught up in their web of lies!!

Then it got worst he asked me to send another 350.00 because the dog needed a special plane, then two days later he said i needed 200.00 for vaccines.

You have to be very careful i was dome enough to believe them so i have lost $670.00 in less than a week.

I email this guy his name was Mr.franklin and he saib that he has two bulldog pups for free and he mailed me back saying that the puppys were his wifes puppys and that she die in the hospital ,and he was in cameroon africa/ researching scienties. first he told me that not to worry that every thing is fine and he payed $50 dollars for regitration papers for the puppy.Then he wanted my # and address an that i would have to pay $250 dollars for delivier and to email him when i send the money so that he can go make sure that they put the( baby )on board.then i asked him for the address of the company and phone # and he told me dont worry that when the agency calls me they will giv me all the info that i ask for when i pay the delivier fee. So they call me the next day at 6 o'clock in the morning saying that i need to send the money throw money gram in 45 mins,then i said that i dont have the money can you pay it for me then when i get the dog i will send the 250 back to you, he told me that he doesnt have any money on him so he will tell the agency to delivier the baby the next day. I told him to forget it that my husband said that hes not sending no money till he gets the dog,then i told him that i went on goggle to see if there was a pet deliver in cameroon then i pop up on the cameroon scam. he never replyed or email me back again (still waiting jack ass in cameroon africa.)ALMOST HAD ME .
