Hey! Where did everything go?

I go on a short trip too Moab, UT over the weekend and I come back and HelpMeRick.com has completely changed!

Where is everything? What have you done to the the website?

Stop - take a breath!

Now, look at the site again.

As much as everything has changed, when you really look at it, nothing has changed.

We use a special process of putting together the website called a Content Management Service (CMS). A CMS allows you to have essentially a self-designing site.

As we add content to the site, it automatically builds links and navigation. Within the CMS (we use one called Drupal) you can add themes. These are nothing more than ways of changing the sites appearance, without changing the content.

So, we have changed to look of HelpMeRick.com, but  the content and navigation is the same. The only thing that has changed in a small way is the header at the top. But, we have made it easier to use. You can now email us or watch tips simply by clicking on one of the big links at the top.

There is no other site under such constant improvement. We hope you enjoy the new look to HelpMeRick.com.

website changes

I'm not as old as some of your readers, but the previous website
art made it difficult to read the links below the "Help Me Rick"
title bar (the line begins "Links and Resources,Computer Users
Group," etc.

The enlargement helps.

I really like it. The color changes are subtle, yet significant in adding to the attractiveness. BUT...I do think you should put photos of you two back in there, and clearer, better photos. We like to look at you guys! It adds a personal touch in addition to the informal, user friendly way you already run it.
