Everything is improving!

Some days it seems that technology is against you then a day comes along and technology actually improves a number of areas of life all at once.

Yesterday Rick sent me an email about how Google has released a version of its map site for the Palm/Treo . This means that I can now search for addresses and view satellite images on my Treo from anywhere. I am sure Rick will write more on this later.

As I was looking up addresses, I noticed that Google has updated the maps and images for Grand Junction, Colorado . The pictures appear to have been taken as recently as this past Winter.

Another great improvement in technology is the new AVG Antispyware program. We have talked a lot about Ewido Antispyware lately. Well, Ewido was bought out by Grisoft, the company that makes AVG Antivirus, now Ewido has been officially renamed AVG Antispyware.

The changes are more than just the name. AVG Antispyware is a great free (or at cost) antispyware program that can more than hold its own against products like SpySweeper.

Picasa also released an update recently that adds some great new features. If you haven't downloaded the newest version in a few weeks, it is worth the time.
