Reset Internet Explorer 7
Microsoft is starting to strongly encourage everyone to upgrade to Internet Explorer 7. While in most cases the process goes smoothly, there are a few cases of problems.
If you do have problems after upgrading to IE 7, try this.
1. Go to the Control Panel
2. Open the Internet Options
3. Click on the Advanced tab
4. Click on the Reset button
5. A warning will come up - click the Reset button again

INTERNET EXPLORER
I received a message from Quick Books saying not to upgrade to Explorer 7. They said it would not be compatable.
Do you know what I should or should not do?
Thanks, Judy
Quickbooks
If you have an older version (~mid-year 2006 or earlier) of Quickbooks, IE7 won't work with it. The later 2006 and 2007 versions are supposed to have this problem resolved. It seems to me that there would only be a problem with the internet and email functions in Quickbooks if you did try to upgrade to IE7 and use it with an "incompatible" version of QB, but I'm not brave enough to risk it, since QB is critical to our business operations. I've instructed all of my staff that are using QB NOT to download the IE upgrade...
