Alphabetize your Favorites (or Bookmarks)
This question came up a couple of times on the show on Saturday and numerous times recently via email; How do I alphabetize my favorites or bookmarks?
Internet Explorer
- Click Favorites from the menus
- RIGHT Click on any item in the favorites list
- Click Sort by Name from the menu
Mozilla Firefox
- Click Bookmarks from the menus
- RIGHT Click on any item in the bookmarks list
- Click Sort by Name from the menu
That's it! You can do that as often as you need to keep your lists in order. Incidentally, you can apply this same technique to your programs menu...
- Click Start
- Click All Programs (Programs)
- RIGHT Click on any item in the programs list
- Click Sort by Name
- ‹ previous
- 675 of 1357

Reason #212
AOL users, correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think you can alphabetize your favorites without laboriously moving them in place yourself.
Thus, reason #212 why I don't like AOL and think that absolutely no one should be using this feature crippled service that worked OK in the 80's and early 90's, but has no place in today's Internet world.

follow up question about the deletion of Musicmatch
Hey Rick,
Thanks so much for your help today on the radio show. I've followed through by reinstalling the Musicmatch program and then getting to the Safe Mode screen by using the F8 key as the computer is turned on. Once there, however, I don't see what to highlight in order to delete a program. Thanks for any help.
