My screen sver fails some times.

Submitted by Smart Computer User on April 23, 2007 - 8:34am.

Every night my DeLL Dimension 1G desktop PC gets an attempted update from Windows Update. After the web page appears, it fails to go to screen saver. Every other time my PC is left unattended the screensaver "Aquariun" appears and eventually the screen goes blank. However, when I come in to my PC in the morning, I find the Windows Update web page still being displayed. How can I fix it so the screen saver doesn't fail to take over the Windows Update page?

Screen Saver

I use a slide show of the 300 photos I took on a recent vacation. A fun reminder of a wonderful time.

Not sure if the same issue still applies, but back in the mid - late 90s there used to be a show on a station called ZDTV, I do not remember exactly which one it was, either "Call for Help or The Screen Savers" where Leo Laporte mentioned something to the effect that using screen savers have a tendency to waste CPU cycles

Screen Saver

I change my screen saver pics every so often. It is such fun and reminds me of places I have been, things I have seen. Thanks for website and newsletter.
