Sex Survey

Apparently some of our email newsletter subscribers received this week's newsletter with a banner ad that asked about a sex survey. Currently, our site's ads bring in just enough revenue to pay for the web hosting fees. Consequently, we use free newsletter services to send our our newsletter.

We started with our current on, Zinester [1], earlier this year when our old system was no longer able to handle the number of subscribers we have. Zinester has a pay version of their service that would cost more than $750 per year and not include ads, but we just don't have that kind of budget for our little site. Consequently, Zinester places ads that we don't have control over on the page. We run a family oriented newsletter and web site, so I have written to Zinester to ask why they allow such ads and if we can not have those types of ads on our newsletter.

We apologize to those who received this ad, but please know that we didn't place it there, we don't garner any money from it, and did not have any control over it. If we can get a newsletter sponsor willing to advertise to our subscribers, then we can pay for a service that will not include ads that we haven't previously screened.

Actually, all of you can help us get more revenue from the site by visiting more often and getting your friends, families, and neighbors to visit the site every day as well! On the web traffic equals revenue!
