SanDisk Press Conference

The SanDisk press conference always makes us smile. They seem to be one of the few technology companies that doesn't release products just for the sake of releasing products. They introduce technology that fits into two categories:

1. Genuine improvements over previous similar products
2. Products that truly try to fit a niche that no one seems to be creating products for currently.

One constant with ALL of SanDisk's products is their commitment to provide true value and simplicity to functional products. At this meeting, SanDisk announced:

• An 12 gigabyte micro SD card that contains more than 50 billion transistors
• The 4GB SanDIsk Cruzer Titanium Plus flash drive that has the option of backing up its data to an online server automatically.
• New line of VideoHD SD cards to support the plethora of HD video cameras that record straight to SD cards.
• A new line of increased capacity SanDisk Clip and View MP3 players.
