Special edition of Castellini on Computers Radio Program on Friday, October 3
This Friday there will be a special edition of the Castellini on Computers Radio program on our local public radio station, KAFM. Anyone can listen from any where by listening to the live web stream at the KAFM web site. Like all public radio stations, they host an annual fund raiser to keep the air waves open. The KAFM management asked if we would be willing to do a special edition of the show during the fund raiser, and we said, "Yes!".
Tune in this Friday, October 3 from Noon-1pm for the special edition show. In addition to tuning in, we would really like to see your support for the show and our new home at KAFM in the form of a donation to their fund raiser. You can click here to donate on their web site, or better yet, let's flood there phone lines on Friday during our show and let them know how
KAFM Community Radio Show
Over the past six months, Adam and I have been fortunate to start a relationship with our local public radio station(not affiliated with NPR). Currently, we do between 1/2 hour and 1 hour one day a week...the third Wednesday of each month between Noon-1 PM Mountain Time.
No Live Show Tonight
In honor of Valentine's Day, we are not doing a live show tonight so we can spend it with our wives/families. We will return next Thursday night here at HelpMeRick.com, AND next Wednesday at Noon on KAFM Radio 88.1 FM in Grand Junction, CO simulcast on their web site.
We hope you all had a good Valentine's Day!
Rick and Adam return to terrestrial radio on Wednesday, December 19!!
We are returning to the Grand Junction, Colorado air waves this Wednesday the 19th on KAFM 88.1 FM. KAFM is our local public radio station and has a fantastic line up of music and public service programs. We have been give the opportunity to appear once per month (third Wednesday of every month) from Noon to 12:30pm Mountain Time.
At this moment, we plan on talking mainly about newsy tech items and possibly end with a practical computer tip. We will be moderated by their public affairs host and be talking with him or her. It won't be a call-in show, just informational.
We hope that with your support in listening to the program, writing to the station, and calling the station, we can get a weekly one hour call-in gig.
Anyone can listen to the show by visiting KAFM's web site and tuning into their live stream. You will also find contact information for the station's program director if you wish to call or write.
We look forward to this new opportunity and hope you get a chance to tune in this Wednesday from Noon-12:30pm Mountain time!

Show changed to Thursday nights
Welcome to those of you who are looking for our show today. If you've missed the past few weeks of our show or haven't visited the site lately, we have moved our show off of terrestrial radio to the web only.
The most common comment we received about the show was: "We like your show, but don't listen to it often because of the time." The time caught up to Adam and I as well so we decided to do a web only show every Thursday night from 9:30-10:30PM Mountain time. It is a live video cast with the ability for you to ask questions AND we post the audio of the show up on the web immediately afterwards for you to enjoy ANY time and ANY way you like.
We also have ramped up the number of emails we answer with our new format. Send us your questions via the link at the top of the site and then listen to the podcast to see if your question was answered (chances are it will be answered either on the show itself or via other podcasts we are now posting throughout the week).
Thanks again for visiting the site and now there are even MORE ways for you to interact with us...so visit more often to get even more quality and useful tech information!!
